Hays Oil and Gas have been selected to work on a Marine Technical Service Engineer for a Global Operator based in the UK. The candidates role is to provide a comprehensive level of technical service to a defined portfolio of customers consistent with the Marine technical offer and overall strategy.

The Technical Support Engineer will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by enhancing relationships with the appropriate levels with our internal and external stakeholders.

The candidate will have experience with processing Used Oil Analysis (UOA) reports, discussing recommendations directly with the customers / account manager as required. Ensuring the account manager is kept informed of relevant and critical lubricant issues.

- Preparing Lubricant Recommendations Schedules (LRS) for customers' vessels including liaison with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in order to establish correct machinery lubrication. Make recommendations regarding the use of products on board ships according to Marine Technical Database (MTD).

- Coordinating and conducting change over ship visits.

- Assist with basic technical troubleshooting (fuel and lubes) and development work as required by the technical manager / account manager / customer service or other ROUs with support and guidance of line manager.
