Electrochemistry is one of our key research areas and we seek to make an appointment in this field. Candidates should have an excellent academic record and be committed to establishing an active research group in Southampton engaged in substantial long-term research programmes. A track record of high quality research in Electrochemistry (in the broadest sense) is an essential requirement.
Relevant strengths in the School of Chemistry include molecular diagnostics and therapeutics, computational systems chemistry, magnetic resonance and molecular assembly, function and structure. The successful appointee will benefit from the University's recent investment in infrastructure in Chemistry, Life Sciences and Nanofabrication and the excellent interdisciplinary research environment. In addition, we enjoy strong links with the world-leading research activities in Medicine, Engineering, Physics, Electronics and Optoelectronics at Southampton University.
