Senior Medical Devices Mechanical Engineer - Cambridgeshire
A established and well respected Medical Devices Engineer Consultancy firm, in Cambridge, are currently looking for a number of Senior Medical Devices Mechanical Engineers to join their expanding organisation. You will be working as a team on the specific design and development of industry leading products for a range of clients in the Medical Devices and Medical Technologies. Specific areas you will be able to work on include Medical Diagnostics, Medical Instrumentation, Surgical Equipment, Interventional Products and Drug Delivery Devices.
This company's main clients, within the Medical Devices and Medical Technologies fields, focus around the design and development of Medical Diagnostics, Medical Instrumentation, Surgical Equipment, Interventional Products and Drug Delivery Devices. Due to this if you have experience working as a Mechanical Engineer on any of these product types I will be very interested in speaking with you. Your main focus will be on the functional design of these products for a range of important Medical Devices clients.
If your experience has been working for direct Medical Device companies, rather than for a consultancy, you would have been involved with a number of different device design projects, ranging across the products already mentioned. The ideal candidate would have worked for a Medical Devices Engineering Consultancy firm in the past, successfully designing a range of functional Designs.
Due to the importance of this role we are looking for experienced people with a strong academic record. You will hold a 1st or 2:1 degree within an Engineering, Physics or similar relevant field, ideally from a Russell Group University. It would be ideal if you hold a PhD, however industry experience is more important than a PhD.
As mentioned you will be in an important position. With this in mind you must already have extensive 3D CAD exposure and worked on successful Medical Devices projects.
