 COMPANY BACKGROUND:

The Healthcare Communications Network comprises 13 distinct divisions, providing market-leading services.  Spread between the North West, Home Counties and Central London within the UK, the network also has a strong presence in the US and Central Europe.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Director of Creative and Presentation Services, this key position is based within our Visual Services group - a global resource of creative designers and graphic artists who service the global visual communications needs of the group.

As the digital lead within Visual Services, the Associate Creative Director-Digital will work as part of a wider creative team and is responsible for the creative conception and visual development of new and existing digital products and services.

You will be involved with the conceptual and visual development of a broad range of digital based communication assets including

·         Desktop applications (training, e-detailing, boot attractions).

·         Websites and web applications (product, therapeutic and social media)

·         Mobile (stand alone applications and customisation of web content into mobile technologies).

This is great opportunity for the right candidate both to influence the direction and nature of digital communication solutions in the healthcare environment, and to lead the development of a new specialist function within Visual Services.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

A proven track record of designing specifically for digital across various mediums including web, mobile and desktop.

A strong understanding of digital platforms/devices from both a creative and user interface standpoint and offer invaluable insights and guidance.

Excellent design and technology skills in producing effective UI’s

Strong collaborative skills working with project stakeholders both technical and none technical.

A proven ability to articulate concepts both internally to account teams and to clients is essential as is an understanding of rationalising communication needs into UX and connecting with specialist audiences.

Mentoring skills in developing support team members

Possessing extensive experience in the conceptualisation and design of engaging user interfaces and a high degree of proficiency and understanding of the following tools. Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML and the technical impact these tools have on the design approach to different platforms.
