An outstanding opportunity has arisen for graduate in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Process Engineering to join a global company in research and development. As a chemical engineering graduate you will direct and deliver technical projects for new product development involving continuous improvement and innovative strategy for leading consumer based products. The developments of consumer acceptable products / technologies are required to meet an increasingly regulated environment. You will be part of a team responsible for developing these technologies to a point where they can be handed over to the product community for introduction into the product portfolio.
As a strong chemical engineer or chemical process engineer you will be skilled the understanding how product relates to process, and run research projects from 1st principles to pilot scale to test products at a laboratory and pilot scale. You will also have a good understanding in chemistry and liaise with scientists to develop materials to make and develop equipment that is able to produce robust materials repetitively.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· BSc, BEng MSc, or MEng or equivalent academic background in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Engineering.
· Project Management skills
· Have knowledge of lab scale to pilot scale
· Experience not essential (full training given)
· Understanding of working in a regulated environment (GLP, GMP, ISO, UKAS)
· Very good spoken and written English as demonstrated by conference presentations and peer reviewed publications
· Experienced in writing scientific reports and publications
35 hours per week. Full Time. Permanent
