Laboratory Business Manager - Microbiology - UK & Ireland - to £45k plus bonus and car
Multinational supplier of sterilisation solutions, this company has a global network of processing sites working in partnership with a Laboratory Testing service for a diverse range of manufacturers.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Laboratory and sterilisation management team in the UK and Ireland. The key objectives are to drive forward changes within the laboratory division to differentiate the company from competitors, ensure service excellence and assist the commercial team in the growth of laboratory sales across the region.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, driven and highly ambitious self starter looking to demonstrate their business acumen and skills within this growing service sector with a view to future career progressions within the company. You should have a microbiological laboratory management background, combined with the ability to support business development and growth. In addition a full understanding of financials and experience of managing a P&L, plus experience of driving change initiatives to reduce costs and improve margin should be demonstrated. As the role will involve spending time at the laboratories in Swindon, Doncaster and Ireland, the ability and interest to undertake regular business travel is required. A Swindon base is preferred but not essential.
Degree in Microbiology.
