The Mammalian Behaviour & Evolution Group seek an individual with expertise in animal behaviour research for a BBSRC-funded programme aiming to develop our understanding of the scent cues used by rodents and identify how such scent cues could be deployed to improve the effectiveness, sustainability and humaneness of rodent control. You should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD, with excellent experimental and communication skills. Experience of working with rodents and a background in the study of scent communication or response to predator odours would be advantageous. The post is available for 3 years initially.
