Position Title: Research Associate (Assistant Professor)
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR) POSITION available at The University of Chicago in the Department of Neurology to study the molecular and cellular pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. The primary activity of a Research Associate (Assistant Professor) is academic research in association with a faculty member or team. Candidates must have a doctorate in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology or a related field. At least three years of postdoctoral training in experimental neuroscience, with expertise in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology and cell cultures are required and knowledge in Parkinson's disease pathogenesis is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to work as a team member. Salary will be commensurate with background and experience.
