Our client provides research services (Services) and research laboratory equipment (Systems) for chemical companies worldwide. The Services and Systems project teams work together with customers in joint research and development projects in the area of catalysis. They developed unique laboratory equipment to prepare and test catalysts in parallel at a very small scale.
To strengthen our chemicals team we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Leader Services
The function will encompass:
o Definition of project scope in collaboration with the customer and our technical experts
o Project Management:
· Prepare and communicate detailed project planning
· Steer and determine the approach and experimental work of the program, in close collaboration with the customer and the project team members
· Functional management of the professionals in your project team (task assignment)
· Communicate project status to the customer and internal stakeholders
o Technical activities:
· Performing and preparing safety assessments
· Performing relevant technical calculations
· Performing data analysis
· Reporting via presentations and reports
Requirements:
You will lead project teams in the Services group, and as such you will be the person responsible for high-quality execution of the projects assigned to you
The ideal candidate should have:
o A MSc. or PhD degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, with experience in heterogeneous catalysis
o At least 4 years of experience as a Project Leader/Project Manager in industry
o Experience in working in a business oriented environment
o Experience with the set-up of laboratory reactor systems
o Strong communication skills
o Good interpersonal skills and multi-task capabilities
o Team spirit
o Initiative
o Ability to solve problems creatively
o A result oriented way of working
o Right to work in the Netherlands
