We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Quality Engineer to co-ordinate and to communicate Quality issues throughout the Company, to deal with and to resolve customer issues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain Customer relationship via ongoing liaison and support.
Keep Management informed of customer performance, requirements and expectations.
Support new product launches / transfers for customer product lines.
Facilitate timely response to open customer issues, ensure internal and external documentation are produced and maintained in response.
Track internal data relative to Sybex and customer management expectations, identify areas of risk and support improvement efforts.
Ensure product / process audits are performed regularly and any non-compliance addressed.
Prepare and present pertinent data to management via weekly quality report/review.
Work with SQA to resolve supplier related issues affecting production or customer quality.
Support ISO/TS quality system requirements as per the Quality Manual.
To project a professional image of the company to customers / visitors.
To use the escalation procedure for any issues / concerns e.g. Quality / downtime.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience as a Quality Engineer in an Automotive environment
Good Communication Skills
HNC / IQA Qualified
Knowledge of quality standards
Demonstrable knowledge of pertinent Quality Systems TS16949
Must be able to work well both independently and within the team
Good problem solving skills and Continuous Improvement Techniques
Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and Manual Handling Risk Assessments
Comply with the Safe System of Work documents
Take appropriate actions in emergency situations
