Orthopaedic R&D Engineering Manager - Research & Development - Medical Devices - Nice, France
A small and expanding Orthopaedic Medical Devices company are looking for an experienced R&D Engineering Manager to join the organisation and assist with the development of products, creation of a specific Medical Devices Team and the continued growth of the company. You will be leading a team of Orthopaedic Engineers in the Research & Development of new Medical Devices that will vastly aid patient standard of life.
As this is a senior position you will need to have been in a managerial position previously. You will need to have many years experience working in the Orthopaedic Medical Devices field. This company is creating products for the UK, Europe and the USA so they need you to have a strong understanding of the different standards in place, including Medical Devices Directive (MDD), ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.
Your team and you will be aiding the Clinical Division on a regular basis, so if you have successfully brought a device through clinical trials this will be very useful. You will be interacting with people in and out the company in both the UK and France; due to this you must be able to speak fluent English and French. Any knowledge of soft tissue repair would be very advantageous also.
