We are a leading firm of consultants providing RPA services to industry and research organisations throughout the UK. In addition to advising on the technical and legal matters concerned with ionising radiations in the workplace, we deliver numerous training courses, undertake contaminated land surveys, and provide technical support services.
We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to expand our team who should:
- have a degree in chemistry, physics or the biological sciences;
- have experience of industrial sources or laboratory radiochemicals; and
- be familiar with current legislation concerning radiological protection.
You will be based in Cheshire and visit clients' premises to meet with the Radiation Protection Supervisors and help audit their radiation protection practices. Good communication skills are therefore essential, both for reporting to clients and for delivering effective training. These positions offer an ideal opportunity to gain RPA accreditation through experience of the numerous applications of radioactive materials and X-rays and the problems presented by land remediation.
