Senior C# Applications Developer - Scientific Modelling - Cambridge
An industry leading Scientific Data Programming Organisation, based in Cambridge, are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced C# developers to help with the programming of very complex statistical software. The role has become available due to the success in the market place followed up with expansion of the business. You will specifically be developing and implementing C# Applications on brand new modelling databases.
You will be working within an established team of C# & C++ experts working on new statistical programming for the scientific fields. As the company is growing and they have an increased number of clients they really need experienced programmers with a number of years in industry. They have not currently got the remit to train someone straight from University, unless you have just completed a PhD that was very heavily focused on software programming.
The majority of your work will be within development of C# code, due to this you will need to have extensive experience with advanced C# programming. It will also be ideal if you have C++ and middleware development experience.
You will be working on commercial projects, due to this you will need to have worked on successful database-driven applications in c#. The team you will work in have a high level of education so it is expected that you will hold a 1st or 2:1 degree in a Mathematical, Scientific or Engineering field. It would also be advantageous if you hold a PhD.
