Our West Midlands based client develop and manufacture a range of animal feeds / supplements. They are actively looking for a Development Team Leader.

Leading a team of 2, the duties for this position will include:-

-    Responsibility for Product Development, variety of dosage forms incl liquids / solids
-    Amending existing formulations, ensuring stability and in line with customer’s requests
-    Training development staff
-    Ensuring processes / methods are documented
-    Manufacturing to pilot scale batches
-    Providing support to manufacturing
-    Sourcing new products in line with Quality / Technical and Sales
-    Dealing with technical queries, internal and external
-    Working closely with Customer Services Team
-    Keeping up to date with legislation
-    Maintaining site / regulatory standards including GMP / (MHRA)

Applications are invited from candidates with a HNC / BSc / MSc in Chemistry, or relates subject together with hands on industrial experience of managing a GMP compliant development laboratory

This is a permanent position, offering a salary of up to £25,000 (depending on skills and experience)
