Global food manufacturing client requires a Quality and Food Safety Technologist to join their robust and highly successful team. You will be responsible for setting quality and food safety standards across the UK businesses.
As Quality and Food Safety Technologist you will manage the following responsibilities:
- Set standards for quality and food safety practices across the organisations various businesses within the UK.
- Have cross-functional relationships and synergy with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep up with and understand trends and changes in your discipline whilst being able to translate that to the business.
- Establish relationships across R&D, commercial and supply chain across the business.
- Bring about a culture of quality and food safety awareness, continuous improvement and implementation to the business.
- Promote best practice.
As Quality and Food Safety Technologist you will need the following exceptional traits:
Science degree or equivalent in food safety / food science and will have substantial previous experience in a similar role within a global FMCG organisation.
You’ll have a can-do attitude, excellent influencing skills and won’t be fazed by working with senior management.
Planning and prioritisation is vital; the successful Global Quality and Food Safety Management Technologist will shine in a fast-moving environment.
We expect you to be results driven, someone with their eye on improvements and a mind focused on innovation.
Your IT and communication skills will be second to none and you’ll be proud of your attention to detail.
The Global Quality and Food Safety Management Technologist will be required to travel, sometimes globally for up to a week on each occasion.
