CLRN Funding Manager (Deputy Senior Manager – Funding and Information)
Applications are invited from an experienced Manager with a background in financial administration to be responsible for the funding mechanisms within the CLRN, which ensure applications for support are managed reliably, efficiently and accurately, and for high-level financial reporting to the NIHR. The postholder will also line manage the Information Team to ensure high-quality collection, analysis and reporting of key CLRN information and will deputise for the Senior Manager. The post is based at the Barts Cancer Institute, Barts and the London at Charterhouse Square, London.
The successful applicant will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject and have a postgraduate qualification or substantial experience in financial administration, preferably in the public or charitable sector. Demonstrable experience of managing budgets to time and scale and tracking performance against targets is also essential as is line management experience and excellent computer skills, especially databases and Excel.
This is a substantive post on an NHS annual funding cycle. Starting salary (NHS Band 8A) will be in the range of £37,996-45,596 per annum exclusive of London Allowance.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme
