Flame Pharma is working with an innovative and world leading orthopaedic Medical Device Company in securing the services of a talented design engineer to be responsible for design and modelling of products for the company’s orthopaedic products (knee implants)
Key aspects of the Systems Design Engineer (orthopaedic) opportunity:
- Oversee the design and development of knee systems, implants and instruments
- Support regulatory approval for products in key markets
- Create 2D and 3D drawings and models for design and manufacturing process
- Interact with surgeons and inventors to design new products
Key requirements of the Systems Design Engineer (orthopaedic) opportunity:
- BSc or BEng in a relevant subject such as mechanical engineering, product design or similar coupled with significant experience in orthopaedic design and development
- Expert knowledge of the engineering associated with the orthopaedic devices with a specialisation in knee systems
- Demonstrated ability to supervise design and development activities in a medical devices application
