Cell Discovery Sales Specialist - Cambs - To £40K
This company is one of the world's leading suppliers to the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life science industries. Its products and services span its customers needs from research to final product manufacture. They are leaders in cell based research, endotoxin testing and cell therapy manufacturing. They now require an additional Cell Discovery Sales Specialist. This is a pivotal role selling to the Research and Academic community. The territory to be covered is the East England ideally based close to Cambridge, including Cambs, Northern Home Couties up to Birmingham and down to Kent but not including London. You are living on territory and are happy to be travelling up to 40% of their time. You will sell and provide technical support for the Cell Discovery product line: Cell lines and culture media, Transfection equipment, Cytotoxicity assays, Mycoplasma, Gene Expression systems and MicroArrays.
To be successful in this role you will have 2-3 years sales experience, preferably to research/academic accounts. You will have cell culture and molecular biology knowledge and experience of biotech/biopharm laboratory and/or manufacturing. Ideally you will have strong transfection and RNAi experience. You will have a strong, customer-focused philosophy, be independent and self-directed with good written and oral communication skills.
As a minimum you will have a BSc in a Biological Science.
