Our client, a Specialist organisation which manages a range of studies for use by corporate clients is now seeking a Senior Research Manager to join them at their West Midlands unit. Their specialist studies are conducted to assist corporate clients develop animal health and feed additive products.

The successful candidate will plan and manage a range of studies; collecting &  processing sample data; understand statistical data; transcription of data onto electronic format. Manage the maintenance of facility documentation and scientific equipment, including drafting / reviewing Standard Operating Procedures.

Good communication skills are required when working closely with study managers and line managers or when managing Research Technicians or liaising effectively with clients demonstrating a high level of commercial awareness.

Applications are welcome from those who can satisfy the following criteria:
·    Experience/knowledge of of working on Home Office regulated studies.
·    Experience of working to Good Laboratory Practice and Good Clinical Practice (veterinary).
·    Experience of managing, leading & motivating staff.
·    Degree or equivalent in appropriate subject or equivalent experience.

Location:                     West Midlands
Salary:        £25,000 - £28,000 depending on qualification/experience
