Our client is a major drug discovery business based in Hamburg, Germany. They're looking for an experienced mass spectrometry scientist to join their expanding research team.

Responsibilities May Include:


Maintain and operate high-performance MS instruments

Designing and performing experiments in teams comprising of biologists, biochemists and informatics people

Developing, scouting and validation of novel MS techniques and readouts

Handling large datasets, interpreting and reporting results


Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong drug discovery background

Experience in mass spectrometry, in particular LC-MS and LC-MS/MS applications for small molecule - target interaction analysis

Experience in sample preparation techniques, method development, instrument operation and trouble shooting for both LC and mass spectrometers

Familiarity with related software

Experience in the field of biochemistry

General broad overview about mass spectrometric technologies

High level of motivation

Excellent communication skills

Strong level of publication appropriate for career stage
