As an Account Director you will provide strong leadership effectively and will direct your team members to ensure they accomplish all goals to deadline and to the very highest standard. You will be responsible for new business opportunities and overseeing and guiding brand strategy and tactics. Also you must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of every client’s business and will actively seek out further opportunities for any account development. Regular attendance at various industry association meetings (HBA, HMCC etc.) is an essential part of your role. Also as Account Director you will be responsible for all recruitment matters within the team as well as ensuring you are prudent when it comes to financial issues.
Skills
To be considered for this Account Director role it is absolutely essential that you have a minimum of 5 years industry experience paired with at least 2 years’ experience with managing/supervising a team.
You will have excellent knowledge on a variety of therapy areas and accounts and will be degree educated as a minimum. Having a business degree would put you at a high advantage though it is not essential to your application. Superb communication skills both written and verbal are vital.
