Our client is a nanotechnology company developing novel nanostructures and dielectric materials for semiconductor, membrane and aerospace applications.
As part of their planned expansion programme they require two research scientists to join their research group.
Successful applicants will have PhD in nanotechnology or related discipline with at least one year Post Doc research experience in carbon nanotube CVD growth techniques, along with good hands- on experience with analytical instrumentation.
The candidates will have excellent communication and technical report writing skills. The posts require candidates who are highly motivated to succeed and able to work to tight deadlines.
The work to be performed calls for individuals who are creative thinkers and capable of bringing in new ideas to solve material challenges. It will also be necessary for the selected candidates to be able to work on their own initiative or as part of a small research team.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate solid attention to detail and good analytical abilities and be able to develop processes through experiential trials.
International travel may also be a requirement from time to time.
