A leading food and beverage research company based in the South East have an immediate requirement for a Regulatory Affairs Advisor.

This major independent research organisation has an international reputation, providing services for a range of clients from blue-chip companies to SMEs. Their aim is to provide independent advice and services in order to ensure product safety, improve product quality and stimulate product, packaging and process innovation.

The overall purpose of this position is to provide members and clients with authoritative services in the areas of alcoholic drinks legislation and labelling, focusing particularly on beer labelling. You will be expected to monitor and maintain a knowledge of the legislation associated with brewing, and keep legislation and regulatory databases up to date. You will run an e-mail newsletter on current legislation for members and clients and provide back up to the team across the wider department. You may also be expected to undertake other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a related discipline coupled with experience in a similar role and industry. You will be competent in interpreting and advising on legislation associated with the alcoholic drinks industry and be able to write detailed reports and presentations.
