Qualified Person QP - South East - Pharmaceutical

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Person (QP) to join a world class Pharmaceutical service provider joining their highly successful Quality Assurance (QA) team based in Kent in the South East of the UK.

This innovative company is a licensed wholesaler and distributor of Pharmaceutical products to global markets specialising in pharmaceuticals, vitamins and over the counter drugs (OTCs).

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Qualified Person to expand and develop their experience in all aspects of Quality Assurance and will include the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

*Batch review, certify and release as required by Directive 2004/27/EU,
*Support the Quality Management System (QMS),
*Write, review and approve SOPs and technical agreements.
*Conduct internal audits and external audits at third party sites,
*Prepare and present reports for product quality reviews and be involved in the investigation of complaints.
*Liaise and co-ordinate contracted QP services as required and manage QP administration resources.
*Perform QP duties and batch certification.
*Define the quality agenda when required.

For this position, you will be eligible to act as a QP under Directive 2004/27/EU approved by the MHRA and you must have 1 - 2 years experience acting as a QP within the Pharmaceutical Industry. Furthermore you should have experience in Good Manufacturing practice (GMP), audits, quality management systems (QMS) and batch release of variety of dosage forms, in particular solid and liquid and steriles would be an advantage. Experience in change control and API (Active pharmaceutical Ingredients) would be beneficial. You should be organised with excellent project management and written/verbal communication skills.
