Within this role you will define and develop analytical and statistical models and methodologies that help our customers make sound business decisions and to provide advanced consultation and tools based on integrated healthcare data to help deliver high quality, cost effective healthcare solutions.
Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements:
-Perform research and custom analysis of complex healthcare activity, pharmacy and lab data and provide data summaries and reports
-Independently perform analyses on integrated healthcare data to include listing, graphical summaries and formal statistical estimates
-Perform all aspects of data analyses (i.e., data acquisition, data management, programming and documentation) and identify data issues, make recommendations on research design and analysis
-Assesses the quality of analysis data and perform cross-study analyses to identify and correct data issues and combine data from various sources
-Solve business problems through the use of practical and measurable statistical analyses Provides in-depth analysis of root causes/business issues
-Perform extensive and highly sophisticated analysis of client data using multivariate statistical techniques to build predictive models
-Develop and implement advanced analytic and data-mining methods.Have an understanding of the application and deployment of Project Management models such as PRINCE 2.
Data modelling and integration:
-Execute analytical programs to support statistical and data model designs for predictive models to understand program impacts and to identify and predict healthcare trends and solve business problems
-Build statistical models using multiple data sets to predict the likelihood of events or outcomes. Ensure quality and accuracy of the data modeling models developed
Solutions Consulting and Decision Support
-Evaluate, write and present reports and makes recommendations based on project findings. Creatively translates information using business knowledge
-Support and consult during sales process with knowledge of data analysis and statistical and analytic methods
-Interface with other functional areas (AIS) on database design and data collection guidelines to promote models into production
-Interpret, analyses and presents key findings to key internal and external customers. Pro active in identifying new Analytic Solutions to support Consulting & Decision Support
Background/Experience Desired:
-Strong SQL and SAS programming skills (e.g., SAS Base, SAS STAT, SAS Macros)
-Familiarity with complex databases and UNIX or mainframe environments
-Ability to understand, run and execute previously written SAS in documenting the steps in all data processing tasks
-Experience of working on Client facing projects.
