Scientific Copy Editor:
Spandidos Publications Ltd. are currently seeking applicants for the role of Scientific Copy Editor. The position involves copy-editing of technical manuscripts for clarity and consistency with our in-house journal style. Candidates will additionally be required to oversee the journal production process and to liaise with authors, academic editors and the production team to ensure that articles are published in print and online in a timely manner.
Applicants should have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work to deadline. The position requires high attention to detail as well as strong computer skills, with knowledge of InDesign and Mac OS a plus. Prior scientific copy-editing experience is preferred but not essential.
This a full-time position based in London.
