Applications Support Specialist - Molecular Instrumentation - Based NWUK - Up to £38K plus car and benefits
This company distribute high quality diagnostic reagents, instruments and systems into Hospital Pathology labs for Microbiology, Immunology, Blood Transfusion, Virology and Haematology. They now have a brand new requirement for an Applications Support Specialist to support their Instrumentation Product Manager focussing on clinical diagnostic products.
This role is home based but will involve a fair amount of travel (approx 30-35k miles pa) and so a company car will be provided. This role will appeal to and suit someone who relishes a challenge and who will work well within a dedicated team. You will thrive working under pressure and have a flexible approach, be able to use your own initiative and have excellent communication skills.
You will currently be working within the clinical diagnostics environment and have experience on a wide range of molecular automation and diagnostic reagents. You will have excellent IT skills and be fully au fait with Microsoft products.
Enthusiasm, energy, drive and self-motivation will be the keys to success in this position.
You will have a BSc in the Life Sciences and as a minimum a strong clinical laboratory background.
