Our client is seeking a graduate microbiologist with hands on food microbiology experience, ideally in an accredited laboratory.
The successful candidate will be qualified to HND/ BSc in Microbiology with at least 1 year experience within a food microbiology laboratory.
The work entails carrying out microbiological analyses of food samples, organising/ prioritising work, maintaining records of all work carried out and ensuring that operations comply with health and safety regulations, especially COSHH. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain laboratories in a safe, tidy and clean manner.
Good inter personnel skills and the ability to work to deadlines will be required for this role.
