My client is a Diagnostics Company providing invitro Point-of-Care testing and are looking for a Senior Development Scientist to join their team.
The role will involve the research and development of system-based immunoassays as well as development and evaluation of novel electrochemical detection methods applied to immunoassay. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the transfer of bench developed assays to system prototypes as well as supervising/mentoring junior members of the team.
The candidate must have a degree or equivalent in a relevant Biological subject, as well as demonstrable experience of working with immunoassay R & D. Commercial IVD product development experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
