Further information

Our client is a major contract manufacturer of pharmaceutical products and they are looking for a microbiologist to join their expanding team.

This is a permanent role, reporting to the site microbiology manager. The primary responsibility for the role will be the routine collection and processing of environmental monitoring samples from around the site. The role involves taking EM samples, reading them following incubation and entering the information obtained into a computerised system.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Microbiology department and the successful candidate should therefore be able to demonstrate a desire to work within, and learn more about, the field of Microbiology.

The successful candidate will have A Levels in Science based subjects (or equivalent experience) and be confident with using computers. Previous microbiological/laboratory/cleanroom experience is highly desirable, though not essential as full training will be given.

It is essential that the successful candidate is reliable and self-motivated. An understanding of cGMP would be advantageous, although training will be given.

This is a day shift position working from Monday to Friday. Salary is dependent on experience.

To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
