The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) is an Executive Agency of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality and efficacy of veterinary medicines in the UK within the statutory framework of various EC Directives and Regulations, and the Veterinary Medicines Regulations.
We currently have vacancies for two Senior Scientific Officer Human and Environmental Safety assessors based in Addlestone, Surrey. Applicants must have a relevant degree or equivalent, for example in chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, environmental science, or other appropriate life science.
