An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Immunoassay Development Scientist- Diagnostics to join an innovative biotech company based in Norfolk. As an Immunoassay Development Scientist you will join the team to develop immunoassays concentrating on novel, non-invasive fluorescence immunoassays. You will be responsible for assay formulation, optimisation and testing and you must be confident in running assays and troubleshooting. Tasks related to your work will include antibody selection processes, fluorescent reagent formulation and testing on target populations as part of regulatory submissions. Candidates must be self-motivated and have strong communication skills.
To be considered for this position you must be educated to a minimum of a BSc in a relevant subject with the ideal candidate being educated to PhD level. This educational background will be coupled with extensive experience in immunoassay development and product development for point of care clinical immunoassays. Candidates will ideally have at least 5 years' experience within industry and will have gained strong knowledge of immunoassay quality systems, verification, manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
