Analytical Instrumentation Support Specialists - X-Ray Fluorescence - Essex - Excellent salary and benefits

Major manufacturer of Analytical Instrumentation which utilise X-Ray Fluorescence to analyse material composition in a multitude of applications seeks two Analytical Instrumentation Support Specialists.

The roles involve: direct customer liaison on repair events to understand the specific application. Communication of customer requirements with repair technicians and management team. Remote customer support for technical queries.
Customisation of products to suit specialist applications. Support to the repair and calibration activities and training and support to in-house and field based employees and customers.

These positions will involve the acquisition of a high level of applications knowledge in addition to understanding repair & calibration activity. Engineering acumen and analytical skills are essential. A high level of accuracy & attention to detail and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel is essential. Overseas travel will form part of the initial training period.

Scientific qualification in either Chemistry or Material Science.
