A talented Editor is now required for a global media company for their offices based in the North West. This successful agency, aspire to report on the key developments within pharmaceutical technology including everything from packing and drug delivery, to formation and quality assurance. As an innovative organisation, they have extensive experience within a wide range of traditional media, as well as an array of digital platforms.
As the European Editor, you will ensure that the exceptional editorial quality of the journal is maintained, whilst ensuring its place as the leading publication in its market. You will work as part of an international team, helping to develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders and to become a recognised figure within the industry. You will therefore represent the brand at a variety of international events and meet with advertisers/ sponsors to ensure that all products are essential sources of information and effective advertising tools. Furthermore, as an experienced Editor, you will be responsible for the scientific research, developing topics, creating European specific content and conducting interviews.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have gained significant editorial experience within the biological and/ or pharmaceutical sciences. Fantastic writing and editorial skills are to be expected; as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and the talent to spot new trends. Due to the nature of this role, you should be prepared to travel within the UK and internationally.
