Lab Support has an exciting vacancy for an experienced epoxy/PU chemist to work for a global leader. Our client, based in Yorkshire, is a manufacturer of "cold cured" reactive composites and industrial coatings based on both Epoxy and PU technologies and are looking for an R&D chemist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of innovative coatings and composites at lab-scale, followed by laboratory testing for performance. They will also be required to validate new products in field trials.
Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent in chemistry/polymer chemistry with industrial experience in a relevant market. Experience in the formulation of innovative two-component reactive coatings, composites or adhesives, with knowledge of relevant physical testing techniques is essential. Candidates should have good communication skills coupled with excellent attention to detail.
