Can you combine knowledge of business analysis methodologies and information processes with a good grasp of R&D in the crop protection/seeds business? At Syngenta, we’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Research & Development Information Systems (RDIS) team. This team has a global remit for ensuring that our scientific innovation is underpinned by advancements in information management.

You’ll be responsible for enhancing our mathematical and science modelling capabilities and applying your analytical skills to a range of IS projects, from requirements analysis onwards. We’ll look to you to be source of expertise in informatics and data visualization, particularly bioinformatics and genomics scientific domains. Your role will also entail supporting change management processes and developing best practice in business analysis in line with Global IS Methodology. All this will involve frequent travel between our global R&D sites.

With a relevant science degree or equivalent, you should have experience of working on information systems and/or information management processes, along with a strategic understanding of R&D. You’ll need the personal presence and influencing skills to challenge others, plus the ability to network effectively across cultures.
