At Syngenta, we’re looking for a Business Architect to work as an R&D Domain Strategist within our Research & Development Information Systems (R&DIS) team. This team has a global remit for ensuring that our scientific innovation is underpinned by advancements in information management.

In this role, you’ll influence the high-level R&D business strategy and facilitate its translation into the IS/technical strategy. This will entail identifying IS technologies and competencies that add value to the R&D function, and acting as an IS change leader – setting the information architecture and technical direction across the domain. Key will be your ability to work with business stakeholders to build a holistic view of our technological assets and capabilities, exploit industry developments and ensure architecture governance.

Of graduate calibre, you must have extensive experience of IS that demonstrates knowledge of R&D in the global environment and exposure to research systems. As well as proven capabilities in system and architecture design, IS strategy and planning, you’ll have experience of authoring documentation and promoting best practice, along with sound business analysis and problem-solving skills.
