Neurophysiology - Post Doctoral Position
A postdoctoral position is immediately available to study neuroplasticity following hearing loss with implications for tinnitus and hyperacusis.
This position is funded by a recent award from the National Institutes of Health (NIDCD). Salary will be commensurate with the NIH scale for postdoctoral fellows. The Research Fellow will participate in a highly collaborative environment within and outside the Kresge Hearing Research Institute at the University of Michigan.
The position is available in the fall of 2012 and will provide funding for up to three years. The Kresge Hearing Research Institute is a multidisciplinary program focused on the study of hearing and deafness, providing opportunities to work across different disciplines.
Required Qualifications
Experience in the area of Neurophysiology is required. Applicants should have Ph.D. in neuroscience, bioengineering, or a related discipline. Preference will be given to applicants with electrophysiology experience and MATLAB programming.
