QA Officer – Vendor Assurance & Audit – Temporary 3 – 6 months

Our client is an expert in Product Development and Manufacturing of Toiletries and Pharmaceuticals products.  Due to an increase in workload, they are currently seeking an experienced QA Officer to join their established Quality team in Hertfordshire, focussing on their supply chain and the systems processes.

Primarily the role will be to:
Manage of the site supplier audit program;
Take Lead Auditor responsibility for API and other external audits;
Manage all aspects of supplier quality management;
Review, update and implement an effective supplier approval process for raw          materials and components;
Work with Purchasing to establish and maintain approved supplier list;
Map entire supply chain for Pharma product starting materials;  

Reporting directly to Head of Quality, suitable candidates must be QA professionals with experience of vendor assurance, auditing packaging components to Pharma product regulations as a minimum. You will need to be flexible in your approach, working with suppliers , QA team, QC team, purchasing and assisting the site QP.
There could be scope for a better qualified, QA Manager to join the team in a permanent capacity in the future.

Role: Temporary 3-6 months;
