We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Formulation Scientist to join a Global Leader within the Chemical Industry, specialising within Crop Protection. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering products to the international market.
Key responsibilities of this role will include -
·Developing and supporting the global crop protection formulations to meet to business demands - designing new and supporting existing formulations as well as ensuring new products are delivered to timescales
·Providing technical support to other groups such as registration, product and technical managers, supply chain and procurement
·Providing support for the transfer of technology from the lab and pilot scale to commercial plant scale - preparing large scale samples to establish processing parameters and provide field trails and regulatory study samples
·Using physical test methods and having a good understanding of colloid chemistry
The ideal candidate will be -
·Degree qualified or equivalent in Chemistry or a related discipline
·Knowledgeable with regards to analytical skills and techniques
·Experienced as a formulation chemist in chemicals or agrochemicals, ideally within the development of crop protection formulations
·Experienced within project management - balancing multiple projects with competing deadlines and changing priorities
