Our client is seeking a polymer / material chemist within their product development department.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to BSc, MSc or PhD level in a chemistry related discipline. A bias towards materials and polymer chemistry would be considered an advantage.
The ideal candidate would be expected to have minimum two years of industrial experience in ink/ coatings or polymer environment and a proven track record in product development.
The applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to plan long term programs of development and also deal with short term development issues. Liaising with clients and customer complaints related to technical problems and major quality issues.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work individually under own initiative as well as within a group with a common goal.
