Business Development Leader - Cambridge
A leading medical consultancy is currently looking for a Business Development Leader to join their team in Cambridge. This is the perfect opportunity to pursue an exciting new role with a medical devices organisation that provides room for career progression and development. This consultancy utilises the latest product development and research techniques for the development of innovative medical devices.
As a Business Development Leader, you will be required to manage a team of individuals to develop successful business and sales plans, in order to grow the company's sales across Europe. You will be responsible for identify new business opportunities, in which you will be approaching prospective clients to build good working relationships, as well as handling major accounts of existing clients in the medical devices sector. You will also be required to oversee the marketing activities of the marketing division, to ensure that effective strategies are created to aid the growth of the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Business Development Consultant with strong people management skills to apply their commercial experience to aid the further growth of this consultancy.
To be considered for this role, you will have a background of being either a Consultant or a Business Development Manager with a proven track record of gaining new business for a medical organisation. The successful candidate will hold an excellent degree in a Life Science or Technical discipline, with a understanding of product design and development.
