Our Client are a major OTC and Contract Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Business and they are looking for a Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant to provide support to Project Managers within the External Product development Department

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Providing technical input and administrative support to the pharmaceutical development department.
Liaising with internal and external customers to achieve department objectives and project deadlines
Compiling and summarising scientific literature and technical reports
Managing departmental records, project files and plans
Management of stability studies
Coordination of active pharmaceutical ingredient supplier requirements
Responsibility for ensuring department compliance with company documentation policies
Driving product development and technical transfer activities with third parties
Attending trial manufacturing and validation batches
Some International travel


Essential Skills/Requirements

Ideally educated to degree level in a science based subject
Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development in a GMP environment, with strong regulatory requirements
The ability to approach problems logically and independently
Development of professional relationships with internal and external customers at all levels
The ability to organise work and to respond appropriately to multiple priorities
Enthusiastic and flexible
Potential for managing future product development projects as the role expands

Hours & Days:

Full time, Permanent, Monday to Friday
As the role progresses you will be required to travel to suppliers/sub contractors for meetings
Some International travel will also be required
