Study Manager - Protein Characterisation
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Study Manager- Protein Characterisation to join a leading CRO based in West Yorkshire. As the Study Manager in Protein Characterisation you will manage a portfolio of analytical projects through from study start up to project sign off. You will be responsible for managing external and internal studies, providing analytical and scientific support for the internal teams and customers and writing proposals and presentations for the development of new business. Whilst achieving these goals you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and direct the preparation of reports. You must be able to meet tight deadlines, work on multiple projects at one time and to work accurately in a pressured environment.
To be considered for this role you must be educated to a minimum of a BSc in a relevant scientific subject such as biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or biophysical chemistry. This educational background will be coupled with at least 2 years' experience within industry- preferably in a biopharmaceutical or analytical environment. Candidates must have extensive experience in protein characterisation using various analytical techniques such as mass spec, CD and AUC. Candidates with experience in Flourescence, FTIR, DLS and DSC would be highly regarded.
