Optical Physicist - Optical Engineer - Cambridgeshire - PhD
A leading Scientific Research Organisation, based in Cambridgeshire, is looking for a number of Optical Physicists or Optical Engineers to help and lead the development and production of leading Optical Technologies. You will be taking an important role in the company working on a number of key projects that will help with the company growth. You will specifically be working on technical challenging optical physics problems.
While working in a consultancy organisation your role will develop into a role that involves face to face meeting with a number of internal and external clients and also conversing via the phone and email, due to this you will need to have strong written and spoken communication skills. As your will be working on high level projects you must also have strong experience working on complex optical technology, essentially Imaging and Geometric Optics, Optical Design or Simulation Software.
You must have knowledge and active work experience on Imaging and Geometric Optics, Optical Design or Simulation Software. Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked on challenging optical projects throughout their education and career.
As there are a number of positions we are looking for experienced Optical Physicists and Optical Engineers we are getting a lot of interest. Due to this my client is mainly short listing people who hold straight A's at A Level followed by a 1st or 2:1 degree, from an leading university. You will also need to hold a PhD in a related subject.
We are also looking for graduate PhD candidates who have education and any work experience on within Imaging and Geometric Optics, Optical Design or Simulation Software.
