Software Engineer - C++ - Scientific Engineering - Cambridgeshire
One of the country's leading Software Houses, based in Cambridgeshire, are currently looking for a number of highly educated Software Engineers to work on a number of Scientific projects. You will get the chance to work on some of the most advanced and challenging technologies and programming problems possible.
The client base you will be working with are all in the scientific fields, so one week you could be working on Computational Physicist problems and the week after working on Physics Engineering projects. This keep your role challenging and really expands your knowledge. You will be programming in C++ and C in a PC environment.
Due to very high demand for this position we can only accept applications from candidates who hold a 1st or 2:1 class degree and A grade A-Level results. Ideally your degree will be in Computer Science, Physics, Computational Sciences, Chemistry or any other related subjects; you will need to have had exposure to C++ or C developing in your degree. If you hold a PhD also this will be highly advantageous but not essential.
You will working alongside some of the scientific industries leading C++ experts. This is a fantastic role to work in and learn every aspect of C++ in. You will be expected to be able to work in this role from day one, due to this you will need to have been working in a C++ development role previously where you have had to interact with internal and external clients. They will consider somebody straight from University but you will need to have an exceptional education record while working on C++ development.
