Our client is a Biologics contract manufacturer and fully integrated biopharmaceutical development organisation they currently have an opportunity for an Analytical QC Scientist to join their growing team

You will develop, optimise and qualify techniques required for the analysis of GMP biopharmaceutical products.  You will be responsible for developing analytical methodologies for the characterisation, QC and in-process/batch release testing of a wide range of potential biopharmaceutical products.

As an Analytical QC Scientist you will develop and apply techniques including HPLC and LC/MS. You will perform/develop assays for product characterisation, in-process/batch release testing. 

You will qualify to appropriate standards the equipment used in the analytical development laboratories.  You will design and interpret development experiments, generate reports and effectively communicate experimental findings.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant scientific field and will ideally have a proven track record of working within the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical industry in either Development or QC. 

Experience in the design / optimisation of biological assays desired. 

Writing specifications, test methods and technical reports, and performing equipment qualification and test method validation would also be desirable.

You will be working in a GMP environment using SOP’s and carrying out analysis on biological samples using HPLC, LC/MS

Role: Permanent
Hours:Monday to Thursday - 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Friday - 8.30 am to 4.00 pm
Salary: Circa 25k Per Annum
