Cambridge based C++ financial software house is on the hunt for a 1st class Software developer to join their rapidly growing software engineering team. This prestigious organisation is a recognised leader throughout the Cambridge community and offering a once in a life time opportunity for a graduate software engineer to apply their technical expertise across some of the most advanced and challenging technologies that the financial industry has to offer.
As a C++ graduate software engineer, your key responsibilities will be focussed upon the development of cutting edge financial information software. Building upon your excellent academic record, the successful applicant will be provided with an excessive amount of support & training by industry experts to successfully carve a career within the lucrative financial sector!
The ideal applicant will be educated to a 1st class or 2:1 level in a science related discipline along with strong A level grades. You must be able to show a real passion for programming in C++ with development experience on Windows and UNIX platforms, (preferably Solaris or Linux).
This role is open to both exceptional graduates and also developers with up to three years commercial experience in C++, hoping to push their skills to the next level. Previous exposure to financial markets or software would be beneficial but not essential.
