Statistician - Edinburgh - Statistics - SAS -Biostatistician - Edinburgh
A Statistician / Biostatistician position has become available with a leading drug development organisation in Scotland. This great company were established around 20 years ago and their Biometrics department have particular emphasis on providing an excellent service in data management, reporting and analysis of early Phase studies. Their client base ranges from UK and European based large multinational pharmaceutical companies to virtual biotechnology.
They are seeking a Statistician / Biostatistician to provide Statistical input to their studies, represent their company and become a significant addition to their medium sized team.
As a Statistician / Biostatistician you will be involved in:
*Programming and validation of routine and complex analysis datasets, tables, figures and listings
*Supporting the creation and maintenance of statistical study documentation.
*Reviewing and adhering to the requirements of study protocols, reporting and analysis plans
*Other responsibilities required as a Statistician / Biostatistician.
You will have close co-operation with the data management team, programmers and medical writers as well as Statisticians / Biostatisticians.
Ideal candidates will have around 3+ year's experience as a Statistician / Biostatistician within a Clinical Trial environment, particularly within Pharmaceutical or CRO companies. Suitable Statisticians will also have a master's degree in Statistics or other related subject.
