
Senior Specialist Medical Equipment Engineer - Based in North London - Basic salary + bonus
This position will report to the Operations Manager and you will be a key member of a team working in this Managed Service Contract. Key skills required include the exercise of independent judgment in relation to repairing medical electrical equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, ability to exercise initiative and prioritise own workload, an understanding of equipment safety and the ability to work safely under pressure. Applicants should be a member of the Voluntary Register of Clinical Technologists or be able to obtain such registration very quickly.
Applicants will be expected to have proven electronics experience and a level of knowledge equivalent to a degree / Incorporated Engineer and be able to clearly demonstrate considerable post qualification experience in the support of a broad range of medical equipment. You will be conversant with relevant legislation, the use of computerised equipment management systems and have good knowledge and understanding of modern theatre equipment.
Ideally qualified to BEng or equivalent in electronics.
